'Reign' Season 2 Spoilers: Bash Becomes A Prince & Francis Suffers From The Black Plague? [VIDEO]
The second season of Reign is about to become more crazy with Francis coming back as well as Bash possibly becoming the new prince.
Queen Catherine Will Deal with 'Power Structures?'
On Tuesday, Assignment X posted an interview with Torrance Coombs, who plays Bash on the series. It turns out that there is a chance that his character's brother could suffer the Black Plague, although Coombs isn't too sure yet.
"We'll see about that. I couldn't tell you that," Coombs said. "All I can tell you is that he was told to come back with the rest of us and shoot some more! It hasn't been written yet, so we don't know, they are writing it now. They don't tell us anything."
As for Bash's chances of becoming a prince, the actor made it clear that that would be up to Francis.
"The interesting thing now is that Bash was in Court because his father allowed him to be," Coombs said. "Now that the King is dead it is up to Francis to allow him to be because Queen Catherine is not going to want him around, as he is a threat to Francis' rule. But really it is going to be that Francis is going to have to lean on him heavily I think. That's my thoughts on it."
The actor also mentioned that there might be some sort of fallout with Pascal after Bash killed his father as well as his mentor -- also known as The Darkness.
Reign Season 2 is expected to premiere this fall on The CW.
