The Pretty Little Liars are on edge in the city that never sleeps, and Alison's premiere confrontation with 'A' will only amp up the drama.

Picking up directly after last season's revelation filed finale, "EscApe From New York" will force the Rosewood teens to choose between staying in Manhattan to protect the wounded Ezra (Ian Harding) or heading back to Rosewood to set a trap for their elusive nemesis.

While Aria (Lucy Hale) will ultimately decided to hang back with her injured ex, it will be Alison (Sasha Pieterse) who first splits from the pack after informing the cops that Ezra may still be in danger at the hospital (see video below).

Unfortunately for Alison, walking the dark streets of New York alone is never a good plan. It's an especially poor choice when you know there is a mysterious killer on your trail. Nevertheless, Alison strikes off on her own and soon comes face-to-mask with the alleged 'A'. Unsurprisingly, Alison will quickly take off through a maze of steam-shrouded allies while 'A' gives chase.

Will the notorious 'A' be exposed during season 5? Executive producer Marlene King won't give away the season's big mystery, but she does promise it will keep fans engaged.

"The mystery of Season 5, the arc of the mystery that we've already laid out, it's going to be one of my most favorite seasons," King explained to Zap2It. "I love where the mystery is going this year, it's such a well thought-out plan."

Catch up with the Liars when "EscApe From New York" airs June 10 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
