'Reign' Season 2 Spoilers: Greer's Love Interest Becomes A Series Regular As He Adds More Drama? [VIDEO]
One of the characters from Reign will reportedly have some more on-screen time next season.
On Friday, Deadline announced that Jonathan Keltz, who plays Leith on the series, has been upgraded to a series regular as opposed to appearing in just a few episodes. Leith was mainly known as the love interest of Greer.
There is currently no word yet on what his story will be, but he will likely add some importance as the royal drama continues.
Torrance Coombs, who plays Bash, recently told Assignment X that there's a possibility his character's brother could suffer from the Black Plague.
"We'll see about that. I couldn't tell you that," Coombs said. "All I can tell you is that he was told to come back with the rest of us and shoot some more! It hasn't been written yet, so we don't know, they are writing it now. They don't tell us anything."
There is also a chance that Bash could become the new prince although that would be up to Francis.
"The interesting thing now is that Bash was in Court because his father allowed him to be," Coombs said. "Now that the King is dead it is up to Francis to allow him to be because Queen Catherine is not going to want him around, as he is a threat to Francis' rule. But really it is going to be that Francis is going to have to lean on him heavily I think. That's my thoughts on it."
Reign is expected to premiere this fall on The CW.
