Natalie Portman Dishes On Episode VII?
On Monday, TMZ posted a number of pictures from the set where a random creature can be seen. It appears to be in the shape of a rhinoceros with tiny ears and a giant pig-like nose. Sources reportedly told the site that the alien was "manned" by five men inside its stomach, and was used for two scenes.
The site also pointed out that filmmakers plan to use less CG and use more natural effects.
Carrie Fisher To Have A New Look As Princess Leia?
Other photos have been published on the site, including random people in hooded costumes while walking on sand. There are also pieces of the set with fences and large objects that look like spaceships. Smoke can also be seen coming from some mysterious object in the distance.
The actors on set appear to be enjoying themselves as some of them smile for the camera and give peace signs.
There weren't any images of the main characters, but Carrie Fisher recently talked about what it was like to back to reprise her role as Princess Leia for the seventh film.
"We all look a little melted. It's good to see other melted people," she said, published on The Guardian. "And it's good to have us all in a room because it's unique. I mean, I don't suppose they have reunions for the Gone With the Wind gang."
Star Wars: Episode VII is expected to hit theaters on December 18, 2015.
