Eva Longoria Dating New York Jets Mark Sanchez
Actress Eva Longoria has been going on secret dates with New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez according to InTouch Magazine, a week after she officially ended her relationship with Eduardo Cruz, brother of actress Penelope Cruz.
"It looks like they're testing the waters," sources told InTouch exclusively.
The "Desperate Housewives" actress was spotted on June 4 shopping with 25-year-old Sanchez at a Kings supermarket near his home in Bedminster, N.J.
The next evening, Eva wore a blond wig at another secret meeting with Sanchez at Hotel Griffou in New York City, where they "looked very comfortable with each other," added the insider. "They were laughing and having a great time."
Eva and Mark have also been on an island-hopping adventure in the Caribbean last month, continued the report.
Eduardo Cruz'' publicist officially announced his breakup with the actress at the end of June according to USWeekly Magazine.
Cruz, a Spanish-born singer-composer, and Longoria began dating in February 2011, several months after Longoria finalized her divorced with NBA player Tony Parker. The couple divorced after Eva learned that Parker cheated on her and exchanged text messages with other women.
"I'm in love," the 37-year-old said about her relationship with Cruz at the time. "I'm a hopeless romantic."
The breakup was a surprise for some because Cruz and Longoria were together in his native Spain earlier last month.
Longoria just wrapped up the eighth and final season of "Desperate Housewives" and in March launched her second fragrance, EVAmour. A portion of sales of the fragrance will go to her charity that benefits the Latina community.
She is also executive-producing the NBC matchmaking series "Ready for Love," and will appear in 13-episode Lifetime soap with "Desperate Housewives" creator Marc Cherry called "Devious Maids" costarring Ana Ortiz and Susan Lucci slated for 2013.
The petite star is set to appear in the upcoming big-screen drama "Long Time Gone" and "The Baytown Outlaws," which also stars Paul Wesley of "The Vampire Diaries" and Billy Bob Thornton.
New York Jets player Mark Sanchez was rumored to have been dating Sports Illustrated model Kate Upton.
