Writers Taking It Easy, Will Delay Next Season?
Speaking to Zap2It, the actor revealed that as he will be directing an episode in the next season mid-November and it would air sometime after the holidays this year.
"They asked me if I would do another one, and I agreed, so I'll do that around mid-November, and it will probably air sometime after the holidays," he said. "I have some ideas that I'm going to throw around with them."
While he didn't give away too much he did allude to hoping for a generous budget again, like he did with the first episode he directed in season 9, which involved an expensive sequence featuring a "big crane."
"They gave me a little extra budget on the last one because it was leading into the 200th episode," he said. "I was like, "If I can get a big crane" -- which is a pretty expensive commodity -- "we can do a cool kind of shot at the end." And we were able to do that, which I was happy about."
The second and final part of the finale, Demons, aired on Wednesday, May 14 on CBS at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
