HBO's Boardwalk Empire is no stranger to charity. The program has offered set tours to encourage charitable donations to be made for various organizations. As the show approaches it's fifth and final season this fall, viewers will have one last opportunity to visit the set.

Boardwalk Empire Adds New Character

Recently, Season 4 and 5 cast member Jeffrey Wright released a video requesting donations be made for two separate organizations. The first, the Tribeca Film Institute located in New York. The second organization is the Taia Peace Foundation.

In his announcement, Wright playfully gives tips on "how to be a gangster," closing with the note that "gangster's stand for something."

"In this case," explained Wright, "You get to stand for a good cause so please give ten dollars or more to help support Trifecta Film Institute and Taia Peace Foundation."

Those who donate are entered into a chance to win a trip to the set of Boardwalk Empire and be shown around by none other than Wright himself.

The show approaches it's fifth and final season this fall and Wright also made a point of highlight the rarity of this opportunity.

"We're filming the final season," he made a point of adding, "So this is your last chance to go behind the scenes of Boardwalk Empire."

Wright plays the dangerous calculating Dr. Narcisse, who appeared in the show's fourth season and will continue into the fifth.

Boardwalk Empire's final season will air on HBO in September 2014.
