The Blacklist's Red Reddington still has several major criminals to take down, and it looks like he will need the continued help of the FBI to do so.

Is Tom Keen Dead? Ryan Eggold Dishes On Possible Return To 'The Blacklist'

Following the events of "Berlin" and "Berlin: Conclusion," the FBI's Red-centric task force was not only demolished, but several of it's key players were bumped off or seriously injured. With Cooper (Harry Lennix) barely alive in the hospital and Agent Malik (Parminder Nagra) six feet under, many fans are wondering if the FBI team will have a chance to reform next season.

As far as executive producers John Eisendrath and Jon Bokenkamp are concerned, the answer is yes, and Cooper will be the one to lead them once more.

"Where Cooper is left for next season, I think he will be back as the person who is central to the task force and I think that he plays just an incredibly fundamental role as the sort of glue that holds everybody together," Eisendrath said on an installment of Beyond the Blacklist.

It will be a good thing, too, if the task force returns, particularly considering the nasty types of criminals Red (James Spader) often has Liz (Megan Boone) chasing.

"One of the things I am excited about for next year is the continuing Blacklisters, a colorful rouges gallery of episodic bad guys who I think make the show very singular," Bokenkamp said on Beyond the Blacklist. "I feel like all the other characters will now get more opportunities to come front and center and for us to learn about Cooper and Ressler and what are the things that they have hidden from us in the first year."
