'Jurassic Park 4' News: Dinosaur Thriller Being Filmed In Abandoned Six Flag Amusement Park, PHOTOS Revealed? [VIDEO]
As filming for Jurassic Park 4 is currently underway, and images from the Hawaii set have already surfaced, it has been revealed that the film is shooting in an unusual location in New Orleans and new on-set photos confirm the fact.

The setting is an abandoned Six Flag amusement park in New Orleans which was badly hit by hurricane Katrina. The movie crew were spotted at the site with all of their gear and cameras ready to call action. While it isn't clear how this will tie in to the plot of the film, maybe it will feature a bunch of dinosaurs ravaging the place.
Earlier this year, photos from the other set of the film in Hawaii revealed a pristine setting for the fourth in the dino franchise. Fans caught in the conceptual art for the park, which showcased a futuristic design, that was released last month. The images showed us what we could expect from the fourth installment of the iconic dino-saga. Nestled in the divine lap of nature -- majestic verdurous mountains surrounded by water on all sides -- are the white dome like structures creating a mini city, which would contain the visitor center and laboratories. As has been predicted before with the setting of the film in the water haven of Hawaii, the rumor about underwater dinosaurs in the film seems to be getting stronger. In the concept art images the abundance of water bodies seems to give fans a hint.
Colin Trevorrow Wary Of "Ruining Childhood" Of Age-Old Fans Of The Franchise?
Jurassic Park 4 is being directed by Trevorrow and will star Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy and Irrfan Khan.
The Jurassic Park films are based on Michael Crichton's series of novels about pre-historic beasts being revived by revolutionary gene technology. Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley are co-producing the film alongside Steven Spielberg, who directed the first two installments in the franchise.
The film will hit theaters on June 12, 2015.
