New details on the second season of Witches of East End have been unleashed, including what's about to happen now that the portal is open.

New Character To Join The Series?

The cast and crew members revealed some enticing moments that fans are about to come across very soon.

"Now that the portal is open, which you saw in the Season 1 finale, this whole other universe has opened up and that's the darkness," actress Rachel Boston, who plays Ingrid, said during the ATX Festival, according to IBTImes. "We don't exactly know what's around us and that's what this season explores, which is dark and sexy."

Jenna Dewan-Tatum To Wear A Mysterious Necklace?

There is also a possibility that the mysterious figure who came out of the Asgard is Frederick, the brother of Ingrid and Freya.

"Christian [Cooke] plays, I think we're allowed to say, he plays Frederick who is the girls' brother that they never know about. Joanna had been keeping him a secret for centuries and he was left back in Asgard," executive producer Maggie Friedman said. "He's actually Freya's twin and the two of them together can do special spells that they can't do apart."

Friedman also revealed that despite anyone wondering if Killian is dead, he is very much alive and will be back.

"The last time we saw him, his boat was set adrift and he was possibly dead," the producer said. "He is very much a part of episode 1 in a way that is unexpected. He's a very big part of season 2."

Witches of East End Season 2 is set to premiere on Sunday, July 6 at 9 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
