Will Alison Be Happy About Mother's Murder On 'Pretty Little Liars'? Teen Faces Family In Rosewood
The ABC Family series supplemented its Tuesday night season 5 premiere with the news that the Liars will be sticking around for two more seasons.
Centered around the lives of Spencer Hastings (Troian Bellisario), Aria Montgomery (Lucy Hale), Emily Fields (Shay Mitchell), Hanna Marin (Ashley Benson), and their previously MIA leader Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pierterse), Pretty Little Liars kicked off its search for the elusive 'A' back in 2010. Ninety-five episodes later, the fashionable teens are still unearthing unsettling clues about their tormentor - and A's plans are nowhere near finished.
"Pretty Little Liars has taken its place in the zeitgeist and reigns supreme in pop culture," said Tom Ascheim, ABC Family president, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "I am glad to bring another two seasons to our audience, because 'A' has a lot in store for our Liars."
Alison's season 4 return and her confessions during "A is for Answers" made it look as if the Rosewood natives were hot on the trail of the program's elusive killer. However, the multi-season pickup proves that there is still time for several more major curve balls to come their way.
