As the release date for Transformers 4: Age of Extinction is right around the corner, promotion for the movie is in full swing. Most recently a new IMAX poster for the movie was revealed and it features Mark Wahlberg, Optimus Prime and a Dinobot.

In the image Wahlberg is dwarfed by the massive figures, even though he is sporting the alien gun. ScreenRush revealed the poster on June 12.

In a recent clip Optimus Prime stated that "the rules have changed" and a new danger is afoot. He warns that everyone was a target now, Transformers and humans alike. Mark Wahlberg had also previously revealed that this film addresses a new threat, which would be the end of mankind.

In an interview with Tformers on March 27, the actor said that he had signed on to do more Transformers films if Age of Extinction did well.

Wahlberg had also emphasized on the fact that Transformers: Age of Extinction was a stand-alone film, and could do without the previous films in the franchise. With an entirely new cast, Michael Bay seems to be taking things to the next level and, in some way, relaunching the franchise.

Titus Welliver, who plays a villainous part in the film, also suggested that this film would be very different, suggesting it was "darker" and not meant for kids. The trailer for the movie seemed to also reaffirm Welliver's words.

Jack Reynor is the male lead of the film and will be playing a race car driver. Peltz acts as Reynor's girlfriend and Wahlberg will portray Flynn Vincent, Peltz's dad, whose alter ego is Cade Yaeger. Kelsey Grammer will be playing the role of Harold Attinger, a counter-intelligence agent who is the main antagonist in the film.

Transformers: Age of Extinction will release on Jun. 27 2014.
