Former Playboy star Kendra Wilkinson has defended Jessica Simpson's post baby weight gain after Simpson has been criticized for gaining 70 pounds during her pregnancy.

Since the birth of her baby Maxwell Drew, several reports have indicated that Simpson received $4 million from Weight Watchers to lose the post baby weight. However she isn't losing it fast enough.

"That just breaks my heart," said Wilkinson, 27, in an exclusive interview with omg! from Yahoo. "I feel for her. I was in the same boat. People just need to mind their own business. That's a woman who just gave birth. Her first priority right now is her child. Her first priority is not losing the weight. You should be proud of her for that."

She continud: "A lot of people just dump their kids off at nannies and lose the weight overnigh. We should all be proud of her for being real and taking control and making priorities."

The Playmate can relate to Jessica because she also struggled to lose the 60 pounds she put on during her pregnancy.
Wilkinson told ABC News last year how she became inspired to lose her postbaby weight: "I looked in the mirror and I said, 'I'm fat."

Wilkinson is the star of the WeTV show "Kendra on Top." She gave birth to her son Hank IV in 2009 and her husband is former NFL player Hank Baskett. "Kendra on Top" is a reality show that follows their personal life together. Wilkinson first became famous as one of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner's three girlfriends on E!'s "Girls Next Door."
