‘Party Down South’ Season 2 Cast: ‘Lil Bit’ Defends Partying Ways, Says ‘I Can Pray With A Beer In My Hand’ As More Cities Reject Show? [VIDEO]
Despite the show being a huge hit for CMT, Party Down South continues to be rejected by Southern cities as producers search for a location to shoot the third season.

In addition to Pensacola , Fla., which rejected the show for its second season, and Ocean Springs, Mississippi, which has tried to keep the show out of its city for season 3, Gautier, Miss. Is also joining the group of cities which is taking action to try and keep the show from filming there.
According to Gulf Live, Gautier Mayor Gordon Gollott confirmed that producers have expressed interest in filming in the city, but City Council has put it on their agenda for next Tuesday night's meeting to request that producers consider going elsewhere.
"...contrary to the image created by our 'Nature's Playground' slogan of social graces and scenic places and displayed through our core values of People, Prosperity, Integrity...WHEREAS, the values and activities promoted by this program in no way reflect those for which we are known in our bedroom community water front as evidenced by our many family-friendly festivals and events throughout the year," the resolution reads.
Meanwhile, cast member Taylor 'Lil Bit' Wright spoke to the Dallas Observer and defended the show, specifically the hate she specifically has received for toting both Christian values and a heavy party lifestyle.
"Of course, I wonder what kind of Christian are you think you can judge me, you know? God is the only one who can judge me," she said. "But I have also received some positive feedback from Christians that have told me they were glad I showed you can be Christian and not be perfect. Christians are real people that makes real mistakes. People can love Jesus and not be perfect and too many good people forget about that. I mean, I can pray while I have a beer in my hand."
Party Down South airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. on CMT.
