Instead, the Latino Review claims that Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) will show interest in the deadly SHIELD agent at the outset of Joss Whedon's latest project. The Avengers appeared to set up a foundation for a Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner)/Natasha Romanoff(Scarlett Johansson) pairing, Clint Barton may be left out in the cold should Hulk choose to act on his feelings.

However, that doesn't mean any hope of a Clintasha romance will be completely extinguished. Although Ruffalo could neither confirm nor deny the latest Avengers 2 rumors, the actor did comment on the two possible relationships.

"Bruce and Nat could be an explosive combo," Ruffalo tweeted, but later added that he "didn't say there was no Clintasha. They have something strong going on."

Ruffalo covered all his bases, even acknowledging the possibility of a Captain America (Chris Evans)/Black Widow pairing down the road.
