'True Blood' Season 7: Sookie & Bill Back Together & More Things We Hope To See [VIDEO]
It will soon be time to say goodbye to Sookie Stackhouse, the bloodsuckers and all the madness in Bon Temps. Here are just a few things we hope will happen on True Blood's seventh and final season, which premieres on Sunday at 9 p.m. HBO.
Let the good vamps win
On the season 6 finale, dangerous H-vamps (vampires with Hepatitis-infected blood), came to crash a mixer filled with Bon Temps residents and friendly vamps. It was clear that these H-vamps were on a fatal mission. Even though a big war is about to ignite this season, Sookie and her gang need to put an end to it somehow.
Eric Northman returns
Last time we saw Eric Northman, he was reading a book on a snowy mountain in the daytime - all made possible with the help of Warlow's blood. The minute Warlow was killed, his blood had no protection against the sunlight and Eric's body started burning. But, we can't accept that Eric's gone for good. It just wouldn't be the same without the Swedish vamp. Maybe Pam will find a way to save her beloved maker.
Let love in for those who lost it
Last season, Sam Merlotte, Lafayette Reynolds and Arlene Fowler all lost the loves of their life. Sam wept over the body of his shifter girlfriend Luna, who died after turning into Steve Newlin on the season 6 premiere. In another devastating moment, a demonic spirit crept into Lafayette's body and killed his boyfriend Jesus. And, Arlene's husband, Terry, set up his own death because he was being haunted by a past war victim. We hope these three characters will find love again in the end.
Jessica Hamby and Jason Stackhouse become official
Sure, Jessica is the ex-girlfriend of Hoyt Fortenberry (Jason's former best friend), but there's something magnetic about these two when they are together. Jason even risked his life to save Jessica's life when she was held captive along with other vampires on season 6. How could they not end up together?
Finally, Bill and Sookie need to get back together
Remember when Sookie and Bill found love on season 1? They may have faced an incredible amount of drama in the time that followed, but there's no way their unconventional love story can be over. Sorry, Alcide, these two belong together.
