'Agents Of SHIELD' Season 2: Which Character Will Appear In 'Age Of Ultron'? New Set Photos Reveal Surprising Answer [VIDEO]
Agents of SHIELD's Phil Coulson might not be slated for an Avengers 2 appearance, but it looks like Agent Triplett will help fill the void.
Joss Whedon's Age of Ultron moved production to the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England during mid-June, and set photos from the public filming have since flooded the Internet.
While most of these pics portray Earth's Mightiest Heroes, there may be one fan photographer that managed clap eyes on a SHIELD agent instead.
Coulson's Alien Drawing Seen First During 'Agents Of SHIELD' Episode 4?
Little Laura's Film Blog claims that they caught sight of BJ Britt (Triplett) while he was filming inside a building (which contained a giant Avengers 'A') and outside around a motorcycle that may belong to Captain America (Chris Evans).
Although Agent Triplett briefly worked with Agent Garrett (Bill Paxton), he never showed any HYDRA loyalty and he has since transitioned over to Coulson's (Clark Gregg) team (see video below).
In regards to the new Director of SHIELD, Gregg has hinted that it is an ever-increasing likelihood that he is not in the 2015 film. Considering how his last foray with the Avengers played out, Coulson may live a little longer if he keeps that particular group of superheroes at arms length.
The Avengers: Age of Ultron is expected to impact the very end of Agents of SHIELD's second season considering it is set for a May 1 release.
Agents of SHIELD will return to ABC this fall.
