'Falling Skies' Season 4 Spoilers: Maggie Explains Her Views On Karen's Death, Will Hal Mason Feel The Same Way? [VIDEO]
Falling Skies' enigmatic documentarian is at it again, and this time he is questioning the unflappable Maggie.
One of the 2nd Mass' lead fighters, Maggie (Sarah Carter) has been at the forefront of the resistances' dealings with the Espehni and the Volm. Maggie's most recent battle with the alien invaders resulted in the death of Karen (Jessy Schram) during the season 3 finale.
"It had to be done," Maggie defensively explains to the inquisitive filmmaker. "Karen was an Espheni overlord, plain and simple. Screw the white flag. We've made a lot of hard decisions in this war, killing Karen wasn't one of them."
Hal & Ben Claim To Never Fight Over Girls on 'Falling Skies', How Will Maggie Change This?
Despite Maggie's logical explanation of her dealing's with Karen during "Brazil," there is a second layer of emotion behind the incident and the faceless documentarian is intensely curious about the Hal Mason (Drew Roy)/Karen/Maggie dynamic. Since Karen was Hal's former girlfriend, the oldest Mason brother attempted to save her at the last moment. As Hal's current girlfriend, Maggie also had to be the one who ultimately made the call to pull the trigger.
"Hal though he could save her because she was someone he cared about but she was just as evil as those 10-foot tall gangly motherf---ers," Maggie explains in the new video.
It is clear that Maggie had no qualms about offing the Espheni's minion, but will Hal feel the same way when season 4 picks up?
