Katie Holmes Divorce: Getting 'A Little Diabolical' in Battle For Suri Custody
Katie Holmes will not settle for anything less than full custody over daughter, Suri, according to reports.
"Katie is not going to compromise on certain issues, all regarding Suri," a source revealed to US Weekly. Apparently Holmes has reached her limit on the ethics of Scientology and their method for raising children.
"This is about protecting her daughter," another source stated. She wants to keep away from the bizarre practices of Scientology.
Holmes definitely has the will to win the custody of her child. But how does her case measure up according to the law?
"She will win plain and simple," Raoul Felder, who has represented Rudy Giuliani and the wives of Patrick Ewing, Tom Clancy, and Martin Scorsese, stated.
"The case will be settled with a whimper in six months and he will fade off into the sunset. I don't care how aggressive Scientology is or how many lawyers he has. He will lose."
Holmes, he adds with esteem, "is a little diabolical."
Rumors have been swirling about the expensive settlement and why Cruise and Holmes split in the first place
Suri is Holmes first child and Cruise's third. He and and former wife, Nicole Kidman, adopted two children together. Cruise and Kidman have joint custody over the now teenagers, but they decided to reside in their father's home.
Holmes has been spotted several times with Suri in her new NYC neighborhood in recent weeks. The actress is reported to begin working on a new project she co-wrote and is co-producing entitled: Molly. The star is slated to start production next week.
Cruise, on the other hand, has been virtually out of sight since the divorce announcement working with lawyers.
