'Agents Of SHIELD' Season 2: Can Coulson Be Trusted? Clark Gregg Dishes On Alien Writing & New Director's State Of Mind [VIDEO]
Agents of SHIELD's Phil Coulson may not be as trustworthy as he seems.
The new director of SHIELD spent the majority of season 1 fervently trying to unlock the secrets of his miraculous recovery in the wake of The Avengers, but his post-Loki medical journey didn't quite come to an end when he finally found some answers.
Instead, Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) ended the series' freshman season in a trance-like state as he methodically inscribed an alien language into the wall of the Bus.
Considering it is highly unlikely that his team will fail to notice Coulson's midnight redecorating, Gregg took a moment to discuss the possible repercussions.
"I would like to say [Coulson is trustworthy]," Gregg recently told Hypable. "But I would have to put two asterisks. One would be: The only lesson from the first season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. might be, can you trust anyone? The second one is, can you trust anyone who's apparently ordering pizza in some alien language all over the wall? I don't know for sure."
However, Coulson isn't the only one making circuit-esque drawings on every available surface. Although fans have only seen Agent Garrett (Bill Paxton) perform a similar action, the same alien language was inscribed on the wall of the facility Agent Ward and Agent Fitz broke into in episode 4.
Does that mean the blue alien species used for GH325 will play a major role in season 2? Find out when Agents of SHIELD returns to ABC this fall.
