Tamra Barney is setting the record straight about why she is selling her clothes on eBay. Rumors have suggested that the Real Housewives of Orange County star is so broke, she's had to sell part of her wardrobe in order to make ends meet at home.

Who Is Getting Their Own Real Housewives Of Orange County Show?

According to the reality television star, though, she says there's no truth to what the gossip blogs have been reporting and that she's been selling her clothes for a good cause, instead.

"I've been selling things on eBay for years. Part of the money goes to charity and the other part goes to charity and the other part goes into my kids' college fund," Barney tells RumorFix. "My kids get so excited to see the bidding go up."

Tamra Barney Says Heather Dubrow Wanted To Throw Her Off The Mechanical Bull?

Meanwhile, it looks as though Barney might have to rely on her eBay store for income as reports have indicated that Bravo exec Andy Cohen has "blocked" her from getting her own spinoff show.

Insiders say that Cohen along with Bravo execs don't want to give Barney her own show because her huge scandals might be "too hot for Bravo" to handle. Her former husband, Simon Barney, is trying to alter their custody arrangement after claims were made that the 46-year-old mother and fitness buff has neglected their three children because of the show.

"A lot of housewives - almost all have asked me for spinoffs and I always say, 'You should be so happy to be on this ensemble show. You get paid so well. You all can kind of fall back on each other or rely on each other,'" Cohen said, according to Radar Online.

The Real Housewives of Orange County airs every Monday at 9 p.m. EST/PST on the Bravo network.
