It sounds like the next season of The Walking Dead will be something to look forward to, according to one of the actors who dished on the scripts and the characters.

Season 5 Premiere Will Be 'Fantastic?'

On Tuesday, Entertainment Weekly had a chat with Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl on the series, where he revealed how happy he is to be back on set and what fans can expect.

"These scripts are the best scripts so far, and I'm really just excited to be back at it," he said. "There are a lot of characters right now, so there are a lot of really different personalities on set. And it's super interesting, everyone's really bringing it. It's going great. It's so dynamic because it's so fast-paced and so complicated. It's great to be back."

Season 5 To Have A 'New Story'

The actor then mentioned new info about Rick as well as other characters who will reportedly be coming back with an attitude.

"Everybody on the whole team is so bad--- right now," Reedus said. "It's interesting because a lot of personalities are clashing, or characters' personalities are clashing. But yeah, we definitely have Rick back."

Reedus then talked about the series showrunner Scott Gimple, who may already have a plan for how things will go down later in the season.

"Scott, he's so good at his job, and he's such a great storyteller and such a good writer," the actor said. "He has this thing planned out to the end, I think."

The Walking Dead Season 5 is expected to premiere in October on AMC.
