‘Mob Wives’ Season 5 News: Big Ang’s Drunken Monkey In DUMBO Closed After Financial Problems [VIDEO]
A new bar in Brooklyn owned by Mob Wives star Big Ang (aka Angela Raiola) has already closed its doors, even though it only opened in May 2014.
The Drunken Monkey in DUMBO opened on May 5 with a big party, but has closed amid financial issues.

"They (staffers) went home that Friday night," a source told the New York Daily News "and just didn't show up the next day."
The Drunken Monkey in DUMBO is located above the famed pizza place Grimaldi's. Patrons had to enter through the restaurant to get to the bar.

"We're having some little paper problems there, but it's not closing," Big Ang told the Daily News. According to the newspaper, the bar may have not been a good fit for the neighborhood, but Big Ang's husband Neil Murphy was at the DUMBO location "all the time" to try and make it work.
"I don't know too much about it," Grimaldi's manager Gina Peluso said ,"all I know is it closed two weeks ago. Nobody (from the bar) said anything to us."
This isn't the only issue Big Ang has had recently. At Big Ang's original Drunken Money bar in Staten Island a patron was recently killed. Abdoul Cisse, 47, was trying to break up a fight outside the bar. While attempting to help, Cisse accidently fell backwards and cracked his skull.
"A horrific tragedy occurred outside of the drunken monkey last night. My heart is broken by the tragic and senseless loss. He was not just a customer, but a gentle giant that I loved," Big Ang posted. "I personally share my heartfelt condolences to his loved ones, and we too are feeling this loss in our drunken monkey family."
