Williams even said he's hung out with One Direction member Liam Payne. "Liam stopped by my studio," Williams said. "I think he's just genuinely curious about music. We have that in common. He's always wanting to see what's new and what's next."
Williams has collaborated recently with everyone from Miley Cyrus to Robin Thicke, so would he work with the boy band? "Why not? Of course," Williams said. "But I suppose they already have five voices - I don't know if they need an extra one."

Williams was first seen with Payne in a Los Angeles studio back in August 2013. One Direction is already reportedly working with The 1975 and Ed Sheeran for their upcoming fourth album.
"I got called into Simon Cowell's room at Britain's Got Talent," Sheeran explained to Digital Spy. "There was some sort of political thing on the last record as to why I didn't get asked and he was explaining that. He basically just said, 'We need some songs,' so I'm seeing him next week."
The 1975's lead singer also confirmed working with 1D. "I went into the studio with them and we started to work on one track," Matt Healy told Digital Spy. "They were asked to list who they wanted to work with on the next album, and we were one of the people they chose."
One Direction is currently in Amsterdam for their Where We Are world tour.
