There might be some big changes coming up on Switched at Birth when Bay worries about Emmett, and when Daphne's mother feels betrayed.

Bay's College Dreams Will Be Crushed?

In a preview of the next episode published on Tuesday, Bay tells Daphne that Emmett could move back to Wisconsin. She's hoping that he won't go, but when she and Emmett share a kiss, the clip moves forward with other dramatic situations.

This includes confronting her husband's possible "other woman," and then Daphne telling her mother that she might change her last name.

Emmett To Rekindle Relationship With His Father?

When Regina tells her daughter that their last name is Vasquez, Daphne points out that by blood, she's a Kennish.

"I see," Regina angrily says. "You're a Kennish now."

This leaves some speculation if Daphne has any plans to not be a part of her mother's family anymore, and if Regina will allow that to happen.

In another teaser of the same episode, Daphne and her mother are going over colleges that Daphne's interested in applying to based on the pre-med programs. The only problem is trying to figure out a way to pay for it.

Both of them seem pretty nervous about how to make finances work for Daphne's future, but Regina tries to keep it cool by letting her daughter know that they'll find a way to make it happen.

Perhaps Daphne is considering taking the Kennish name so Bay's parents can help pay for her college tuition.

Switched at Birth airs on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
