As the episode preceding the finale for season 2 of Beauty and the Beast is coming up next, the preview and a few stills from the episode, titled Operation Fake Date, were just revealed.

In the preview Gabe (Sendhil Ramamurthy) seems to be going a touch crazy in his search for Vincent (Jay Ryan) and Catherine's (Kristin Kreuk) is terribly concerned as she needs to protect Vin. In the clip Cat states that Gabe's "come unhinged" by his pursuit. As the clip moves along, Vin is seen on a gurney, seemingly ready to be operated upon. Cat is seen asking Gabe about Vincent's whereabouts as he seems to have been caught. "He is being dissected into little bits," Gabe says.

Things are only going to get more interesting as the plot thickens andit also seems like Gabe is trying to get Catherine back while trying to nab her lover. In this episode he also takes Cat out on a romantic date to convince her they are meant to be, it seem like she will play along to help save Vincent.

No 'Way Out' For Vincent As Evidence Against Him Is 'Rather Damning?'

In the last episode, Ever After, which aired on the night of June 23, as Cat and Vin hid out ni suburbia, Gabe stopped at nothing. He was even seen threatening J.T. (Austin Basis) to find out about Vincent's whereabouts. He actually had a gun pointed at J.T. demanding he spill the details.

Here's the official synopsis for Operation Fake Date:

"Desperate to start over with Cat (Kristin Kreuk), Gabe (Sendhil Ramammurthy) tried to woo her by taking her on a romantic date. However, she has plans of her own regarding how to save Vincent (Jay Ryan) -- while also trying to plan Heather's (guest star Nicole Gale Anderson) bachelorette party."

The episode will air on The CW on June 30 at 9 p.m.
