New details have been splurged on the fifth season of The Walking Dead, including facts on Terminus with many more questions answered.

Rick Grimes Will Be 'Completely Different'

On Thursday, Entertainment Weekly posted a report from series writer Robert Kirkman, who made it pretty clear that viewers should be finding out a lot about these so-called cannibals at Terminus. According to Kirkman, "there's a lot going on" there.

"In our premiere episode of Season 5, we're going to give a ton of answers of who the people of Terminus are, what they're doing, why they're doing it, what's going on with them," he said. "And by the end of that episode you're going to have a much better understanding of what's going on with them and why they're so important to the show."

Kirkman then added one extra detail that could easily spark some curious rage.

"Oh, and Daryl dies," he added.

Considering that he would say something so bluntly like that, there is a really good chance that he was joking. If he is, then the fans ought to be unimpressed yet relieved.

Kirkman also mentioned that the characters will at some point make their way out of that train car although it won't be easy.

"They do not spend the entirety of Season 5 in that train car," he said. "It is through ingenuity and creativity and somewhat savageness that they are able to make their way out of that train car."

The Walking Dead Season 5 is expected to premiere in October on AMC.
