'Transformers 4: Age of Extinction' News: New York Premiere Dazzles As Stars Shine On The Red Carpet [PHOTOS & VIDEO]
The New York premiere of Transformers: Age of Extinction took place at the Ziegfeld theater on June 25. Most of the stars, like Mark Wahlberg, Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz and Kelsey Grammer, of the movie dazzled on the red carpet.
Mark Wahlberg Threatens To Kill Jack Reynor In New Clip For Transformers 4: Age of Extinction
Wahlberg brought his family -- wife and three kids -- with him and Stanley Tucci came with his wife, Felicity Blunt, but Jack Reynor's fiance wasn't present at the event. Director Michael Bay and producer Steven Spielberg were also in attendance. Some of the other new faces in the movie, like Li Bing Bing seemed to be missing from the scene, though.
Here's the official synopsis for Transformers 4: Age of Extinction:
"Transformers: Age of Extinction begins after an epic battle left a great city torn, but with the world saved. As humanity picks up the pieces, a shadowy group reveals itself in an attempt to control the direction of history...while an ancient, powerful new menace sets Earth in its crosshairs. With help from a new cast of humans (led by Mark Wahlberg), Optimus Prime and the Autobots rise to meet their most fearsome challenge yet. In an incredible adventure, they are swept up in a war of good and evil, ultimately leading to a climactic battle across the world."
Reynor and Wahlberg are the male leads of the film. Reynor will be playing Shane Dyson, a race car driver. Peltz acts as Reynor's girlfriend, Tessa Yeager, and Wahlberg will portray Peltz's dad, Cade Yaeger. Kelsey Grammer will be playing the role of Harold Attinger, a counter-intelligence agent who is the main antagonist in the film.
Transformers: Age of Extinction will hit theaters on June 27, 2014.
