'Nashville' Season 3 Premiere: Deacon & Rayna To 'Live Happily Ever After,' Actor Reveals His Hopes [VIDEO]
It looks like all the supporters of Deacon and Rayna on Nashville might find their wish when the series returns based on one of the actor's words which sounded pretty hopeful.
Series Could Revolve Around Juliette's Affair
On Tuesday, Stage Rights Secret had a live interview (featured below) with Chip Esten, who plays Deacon on the hit series. When he was asked what he would do if he were writing the script, he revealed that he would probably have Deacon and Rayna end up together.
"The funny thing is, when you're an actor, I mean, I'm like everyone else. I want Deacon and Rayna to live happily ever after," Esten said. "But you know, at a certain point, there's got to be some drama, there's got to be something going on so I don't know how they do it, all the writers are huddled up, they're writing something special."
Is Avery Going To Be Able To Forgive Juliette?
Despite any wild occurrences that could take place before this possible situation, the actor mentioned that he wishes the best for his character.
"I would like to see what would happen with Deacon and Rayna getting a shot at happiness and a life together," Esten said. "There would surely be some interesting things that would happen along the way, but I think Deacon deserves that."
The actor then gave words of advice to aspiring singers, actors and anyone else willing to get into the entertainment industry.
"Make sure it's something that you have to do that's in you so much that you couldn't see yourself doing anything else," Esten said. "And if that's the case, that takes care of all the fame and success part because you're doing it because you have to."
Nashville Season 3 is expected to premiere this fall on ABC.
