Sofia Vergara and Nick Loeb are reportedly engaged, according to US Weekly. The politician is said to have given the Colombian actress a beautiful diamond ring while celebrating her birthday in Mexico. Vergara's friend Fernando Fiore posted the photo of her ring, sparking rumors that the couple is indeed engaged.
The couple broke up earlier this year, only to get back together soon after. They had split over a series of arguments, reportedly prompting Vergara to move out of their NYC apartment and into a hotel. However, the pair quickly got their relationship back on track.
The "Modern Family" star, 39 and her boyfriend, 36, began dating in 2010. Rumors that the couple were engaged also circulated back in 2010, a few months after they became an item.
There is no official word on the engagement from the couple.
Vergara was previously married to her childhood sweetheart Joe Gonzalez in 1991. She has a son, 20-year-old Manolo, from her two-year marriage to Gonzalez. They divorced in 1993.
The Colombian actress will reportedly star as a sexy madame in Robert Rodríguez's all-star-cast film, "Machete Kills." She will be starring alongside Mel Gibson, and Jessica Alba.
