'Rookie Blue' Season 5 Spoilers: Sam And Andy Investigate His Estranged Dad In Murder Case [VIDEO]
Sam and Andy's relationship on ABC's Rookie Blue is slated to get even more strange.
Sam, Andy & Nick's Love Triangle Far From Over
The on-again-off-again couple not only have to work together on investigations, but Andy is put in a very awkward position as they continue their search to find who murdered Brian Gowdy.
A synopsis for the upcoming sixth episode of the season, called Two Truths And a Lie, reads:
Sam's Sister Comes Between Him & Andy
"As the officers of 15 Division try to hunt down the killer of Brian Gowdy, Andy and Sam go on the road to interview a list of inmates at Millburn Penitentiary. All are known associates of the prime suspect; one person on that list happens to be none other than Jay Swarek, Sam's elusive father."
A trailer for the highly anticipated episode also reveals that while Andy wanted to keep their relationship platonic, that all goes out the window as they are seen getting pretty intimate.
But in true Andy and Sam fashion, the romance doesn't last long.
In one scene, Andy reveals why when she yells at Sam, "This happens every time! Everything is going great and then life happens, and you shut down."
In the same clip, Dov also takes a shot at Chloe because of the whole ordeal that she had a husband she failed to mention.
He coyly says while flipping through papers, "Everybody's hiding something. Parking tickets... Husbands?"
Chloe and Dov share a brief glance before he looks back down and returns to shuffling his papers.
Rookie Blue airs Thursdays at 10/9c on ABC.
