Heading into the 4th of July 2014 holiday, San Diego is offering several options for seeing spectacular fireworks displays, including the Annual Big Bay Boom and Ocean Beach.

4th of July Fireworks in Los Angeles: Complete Celebration Schedule

San Diego is well known for its Annual Big Bay Boom July 4 Fireworks Show, which will be starting at 9 p.m. on Independence Day. This year's fireworks will be launched from four different barges around North San Diego Bay. They will be able to be seen from Harbor Island, Shelter Island, the Embarcadero area and Seaport Village/Coronado Landing.

Meanwhile, SeaWorld will be setting off their own fireworks starting at 10:10 p.m. Taking place at 500 SeaWorld Dr. in San Diego, the popular (yet controversial) marine mammal park is a viable option for families.

Those wanting a more relaxing 4th of July may want to take in the fireworks at Ocean Beach, located at the end of Newport Ave. Enjoy the day on the beach and take in the fireworks display starting at 9 p.m., launched from the Ocean Beach Pier.

Fireworks are not for everyone, so those who want a peaceful 4th of July can go to Old Town State Historical Park. The park will be holding a parade, crafts and activities will help to bring back how the holiday was celebrated in the olden days. The event lasts from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There will be a variety of fireworks display in San Diego County, including displays at Legoland, the Del Mar Fairgrounds and Grape Day Park.
