Doctor Who's season 8 finale sure seems to have an affinity for graves.

Can The Gatekeeper of the Nethersphere Help Stop The Cybermen? New Set PHOTOS From 'Doctor Who' Season 8 Finale

The Doctor (Peter Capaldi) and his pals are currently busy chasing cybermen around Cardiff for the tentatively titled "Death in Heaven," but the Time Lord recently made two stops that involve gravestones and/or memorial monuments.

On June 23, the two-part episode dropped by the National Museum of Cardiff to bring two suspiciously Gallifreyan items into the set formerly used for "The Day of the Doctor." Bearing what appears to be a Circular Galifreyan inscription, a black obelisk reads, "Rest in Peace. We Promise," according to Doctor Who TV.

Should 'Doctor Who' Have Cast A Female Twelfth Doctor? Paul McGann Speaks Out

While many have speculated that this could be a memorial for the Master, others believe it could also have something to due with Clara (Jenna Louise Coleman). Although neither theory has been confirmed, Doctor Who took filming to Box Cemetery on Tuesday.

Previously used as the final resting place of Amy and Rory during "the Angels Take Manhattan," a bystander informed Doctor Who TV that the site might now be utilized in part of the cybermens' plan to convert the dead.

Coleman was on set filming a scene with one of the metal villains, according to Doctor Who TV, one that she apparently seemed to know.

Are the cybermen looking for any particular deceased human to resurrect? Could they play a hand in brining the Master back from his potential grave in Gallifrey (he was having a bit of trouble staying alive during "The End Of Time: Part 2," after all).
