Falling Skies' Hal and Ben Mason recently claimed they aren't one to fight over girls. As the love triangle builds between the brother's and Maggie, actor Drew Roy is quick to point out that this is not entirely true.

Maggie Laid Down Arms On 'Falling Skies', Can Hal Talk Her Into Battle Mode Or Will Ben Take The Lead?

Maggie (Sarah Carter) is definitely not Hal's (Roy) first girlfriend, and it seems like Ben (Connor Jessup) had a thing for Karen before she turned into an evil Espheni overlord (as any normal teenage girl is liable to do during the apocalypse, of course).

"For the first time, we'll see Hal as not the guy that can just swoop in and get the girl," Roy explained to Zap2It. "We're actually going to see him get pushed away and it's done in a very complicated way in how the story unfolds because it's by none other than his own brother, Ben. It's not the first time he's done such a thing. Remember that he had a thing for Karen as well, so it's not the first time this has happened."

So much for Mason family loyalty.

Despite this, Hal will apparently try to handle the situation like the adult - and the leader - he has grown to be.

"Obviously, Hal feels betrayed by both Maggie and Ben, but at the same time, he's trying to be mature and not be catty about it," Roy said. "It's tough on so many levels."
