New girl Amber Marchese's aspirations for fame is reportedly not a good fit with her The Real Housewives of New Jersey co-stars.

An insider told Radar Online June 23 that her antics don't sit well with the other ladies.
"She is trying too hard to be famous. She desperately wants to be an actress like Heather Dubrow or NeNe Leakes and the other women felt like she spent the season pretending to be someone she is not."

Marchese, who has previously snagged acting gigs including commercials for Galaxy Toyota's Mirror Mirror and Mortgages NOW, is apparently using reality television to boost her fame status.
"Amber is really hoping this show will make her a name and she started filming acting like Teresa or Melissa, like she had been around forever. She's probably going to say that she is 'just being a character' and that's not her real life on the show, which is totally fake."
While it might be a copout for Marchese, her excuse of playing a certain role isn't something that necessarily pleases Bravo's head honchos.
"Bravo executives hate when the women say they're not being themselves. They still want them to act like this is a 'reality' show so if she tries to pull that after all the filming is done they're not going to be happy with her.
Her biggest acting gig to date is landing on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Even in the previews she looks like she is acting. It's so fake."
The Real Housewives of New Jersey's sixth season premieres July 13 at 8/7c on Bravo.
