Fourth of July has officially landed in Chicago and you don't have to be in the Windy City to get a view of the amazing show.
Fireworks Schedule For Washington, D.C.
The fireworks take place Friday, July 4 at 9:30PM CST. The main area is the traditional Navy Pier, located at 600 E. Grand Ave. Navy Pier goes all out for Independence Day and attendees can even enjoy one of 40 gondolas on the oversized Ferris wheel during the show. It only costs $7 for a seven-minute ride.
If you choose to enjoy the fireworks at a lakefront such as on Ohio Street Beach, Oak Street Beach, Montrose Beach or DIversey Harbor, attendees are advised to get there extremely early as it is bound to get packed. A blanket to sit on is also a must-have item while watching the fireworks on one of Chicago's many beautiful beaches.
The firework festivities don't end on Independence Day in the Windy City. There will be an encore show at Navy Pier 10:15PM on Saturday, July 5. Navy Pier will also feature firework shows each Wednesday at 9:30 and Saturday at 10:15 through Labor Day weekend.
