As season 5 of The Good Wife wrapped earlier this month, fans are already jonesing for details and spoilers for the next chapter of the CBS legal drama. Enstars rounds up all we know so far about how things will unravel in season 6.

The highlight of the finale for season 5 was Eli Gould (Alan Cumming) proposing Alicia (Julianna Margulies) become a candidate for State's Attorney. The cliffhanger obviously had to do with the big decision Alicia will have to take now.

Margulies has stated that she would like Alicia to run for State's Attorney.

In May, the show creators spoke to E!Online. Robert gave a hint about what might be going through Alicia's mind.

"You know what? We ended season four with "I'm in," where it was given that she and Cary were going to leave the firm even though there was some question," he said. "We start next year exactly where we left off this year and Alicia's reaction is, 'Are you f---ing insane? That's the last thing I want to do.' But things tend to change on the show."

Alicia's marriage with Peter Florrick (Chris Noth) is also up for further exploration and not quite dead yet, according to Noth.

The other important plot twist was Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) deciding to join Florrick/Agos. The creators have suggested that it is likely that she will make good on that move and Kalinda (Archie Panjabi) will go with her, despite her reigning tensions with Cary Agos (Matt Czuchry).

Chumhum is still going to be a point of contention between the two firms in seasno 6 and will also be the prime mover of friction.

In a recent interview with TVLine, the show's co-creator Robert King spoke about the discussion about Mrs. Chumhum in the finale when the teleconference talk which wasn't shut off and Florrick/Argos were unethically accessing revealed that their biggest client was being poached by Lockhart/Gardner.

Deena Chumhum ("Mrs. Chumhum") was spotted in the Lockhart/Gardner office and Cary interpreted that as being a grave threat to them. Deena, who is played by Megan Ketch, will be returning on the show, King revealed. He said Ketch was "very good" and that they would be getting "her back early next year."

King then went on to state that Chumhum will be a crucial plot point in the next season of the series.

"So, you're going to find [the fight for Chumhum's business] is a continuing plot line," King said. "What Lucky Strike was to Mad Men, Chumhum is to us. The fallout from Deena's flirtation with Lockhart-Gardner could potentially mess with Florrick-Agos' future - and even its desire to bring Diane into the fold."

Carrie Preston, who played the fun and quirky lawyer Elsbeth Tascioni on The Good Wife, will also be returning for a "couple episodes" in season 6. Michael J. Fox, who plays Louis Canning on the show, and Jill Hennessy, who portrays Rayna Hecht, are also likely to return.

The finale, titled A Weird Year, aired on May 18.

Season 6 of The Good Wife will premiere on CBS on September 21.
