Ruffalo, who will reprise his role as Bruce Banner/Hulk, sat down with Total Film to promote Begin Again, but the actor wound up dishing on Age of Ultron as well.

"It's, oddly enough, a much bigger movie than Avengers 1 was," Ruffalo explained. "It's a little big darker. We get a lot deeper into the characters now since we established them in the first one and can cover a lot more ground. Ultron's incredible...It's pretty sweeping. It's pretty epic."

As writer/director Joss Whedon narrows the lens on his superhero team, viewers will be treated to more banter between the men behind Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and the giant green rage monster.

"There's more stuff with Banner and Tony Stark," Ruffalo teased. "More 'Science Bros.' stuff."

Asides from Ruffalo and Downey, the 2015 film will also feature Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Chris Evans (Captain America), James Spader (Ultron), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), and Aaron Taylor Johnson (Quicksilver).
