Animal acts are always a risk on NBC's America's Got Talent, but one bird proved to capture the judge's hearts through her talent and charm.

84-Year-Old Man Gives Judges An Unexpected Tune On 'America's Got Talent'

Joe The Birdman has been training birds for 38 years and came onto the show with a lot of enthusiasm. "I plan to show America a talking bird like they have never seen before," the trainer claimed.

Joe explained that he rescued Tica about a year ago, and her vocabulary is beyond anything he's ever seen before. "She is just phenomenal, she's the best talking parrot I've ever met," he insisted. "When we pull up the drive-thru, she tries to order".

Band Takes Risk With Original Song On 'America's Got Talent'

The judges were immediately taken in when Joe and the green parrot came onto the stage, but as the act began they realized this bird was more than simply adorable.

Tica responded to different interaction, occasionally throwing in a rather unique little laugh. The bird knew the lyrics to both "Happy Birthday" and "Hush Little Baby", which really impressed the judges.

Judge Mel B was amazed by the bird, though she hesitated in voting Joe and Tica into the next round. Only after encouragement from fellow judges Howie Mandel and Heidi Klum, as well as Tica herself, did the judge agree to push the act through.

America's Got Talent moves into the next round of eliminations tonight on NBC at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
