'Hawaii Five-0' Season 5 Premiere Title Announced [PHOTOS], Extra Long Season In The Works [VIDEO]
Hawaii Five-0 will treat fans to an extra long fifth season.
Alex O'Loughlin (McGarrett) announced at Tuesday's blessing for the cast and crew that the upcoming season will have 25 episodes, according to SpoilerTV. The tall episode order comes after a season 4 delivered the series' shortest order with just 22 episodes.
Following Tuesday's events, the cast and crew will begin work on the Sept. 26 premiere ("Nu'a Nalu").

"First day selfie," tweeted executive producer Peter Lenkov alongside a photo of himself and O'Loughlin. "Hawaii Five-0 #H50 Season 5 starts shooting today!"
Meanwhile, recurring guest star Jorge Garcia celebrated his first day as a series regular by tweeting fans a photo of the premiere script's title page.
As excitement builds for the new season, Lenkov has promised fans that Five-0 will continue to explore new avenues for their main characters.
"The great thing about hitting season five is that we just know our characters so well," Lenkov told the Honolulu Pulse. "We know all that they have been through and can build upon on that groundwork to push stories and characters forward. Where we've been gives us the path to know where we want to go."
