NCIS: Los Angeles already has the season 6 premiere in the bag, but it will be another four weeks before the fans will receive any set updates from the cast.

While many network series are heading back into the studio in July, NCIS: LA filmed the premiere and another Chris O'Donnell (Callen) directed episode back in April and the cast won't need to step infront of the cameras until early August.
"Very excited 4 S6 #NCISLA production 2 begin in 4wks," tweeted executive producer John Peter Kousakis on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, NCIS: LA's production coordination, Laura Napoli, followed up his remark with an announcement that the writers and production team would be returning to work in far less time.
"And less than 1 week for the office...gulp!" Napoli wrote.
When Callen and the team returns from the summer hiatus, both he and Sam (LL Cool J) will be fighting for their lives on a bomb-laden submarine. Trapped in the submerged terrorist attack, the agents will soon have to deal with a little bit of a leak. As their danger grows, Kensi (Daniela Ruah) and Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) will be searching for their teammates from the air.
