It looks as though Jennifer Aniston might be a little jealous of her ex-husband Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie once again. Rumor has it that the former Friends star is envious of the fact that Pitt and Jolie are starring in yet another high-profile film together that they will be filming on the island of Malta for the next several months.

According to reports, Pitt and Jolie will be working on an as of yet untitled, independent-oriented film. Jolie wrote the script and apparently even the prime minister of the country recently released a statement welcoming Brangelina to the island.

It's being speculated that Aniston might be a little envious of all the attention and special treatment Brangelina are getting while she and her fiancé Justin Theroux haven't tasted the same success with their projects. Aniston's last film, We're The Millers only made $270 million worldwide while Jolie's Maleficent made over $600 million at the box office. In addition, Theroux's latest project is The Leftovers, which is a small-screen television show that he wrote and is starring in on HBO.

It was earlier reported that Aniston has been envious of Jolie's high-profile career while the only attention she's been receiving is for her red carpet looks rather than her big screen work.

"She's jealous of the way Angelina's career has gone, and wishes she could open films to the same kind of numbers," a source tells Celebrity Laundry. "Of course, she's also jealous of the global fame and adoration that's followed Angelina since she got together with Brad, and she thinks that she might have had a similar career and following if Brad had stayed with her."

According to reports, Aniston and her fiancé Justin Theroux have been working on a script themselves, which they hope will match the same success both Pitt and Jolie have had with their most latest movies.
