WeTv's Braxton Family Values might not feature the outspoken and straightforward Tamar Braxton fans are used to seeing in the upcoming fourth season.

Tamar Braxton Quits 'Braxton Family Values'?

Braxton and her sister and co-star Trina made an appearance at the 2014 Essence Music Festival over the weekend. They revealed that Trina had to give Tamar a wake up call when it came to the Love & War singer being extremely direct in commenting on every aspect of her sisters' lives from their marriage to career and wardrobe.

Trina said the main issue was that Tamar had no problem giving her opinion, but often couldn't take the heat when her sisters gave their thoughts on her life.

Trina said, "You can't say, 'Oh, okay. I thought I was giving this unsolicited advice and think that it's some kind of therapeutic thing because if someone says the same thing to you, it's like, 'You tried it. no, you didn't. Who you talking to?"

Tamar confessed that she realized how her sisters felt about her advice when she watched the series back.

"I was outspoken and I thought that because they were my sisters, it was cool for me to give my unsolicited advice and opinions on their life and what's going on with them...Watching the show and seeing my sisters' reactions, I didn't like it, only because I found that the things I was saying to them was not helpful to them."

Of course the sisters were able to keep it light and fun. The crowd even made it clear they disagreed with Tamar when she said she's "never been a brat."
