One of the actresses from The Walking Dead released some enticing details about the fifth season premiere, which ought to give plenty of anticipation.

Details Revealed About Gareth

On Sunday, The Walking Dead and More posted a live interview with Lauren Cohan (Maggie) who dished on where the fourth season left off and how it might pick up in the premiere this fall.

"I think what's awesome about this one is that we left the group in such turmoil at the end of Season 4," she said. She then mentioned how audiences are left in a lot of curiosity to see what happens in the premiere, which she claims is "so flippin' cool."

Season 5 Premiere Could Be 'The Biggest Episode?'

"I mean, it was like- you'll see!" she chipperly said.

Cohan went on about how this season will be different from the fourth because it won't start off as everything looking like it's going well.

"You know it's bad," she said. "You know basically that it's do or die right now."

She also revealed that the group members have to be resourceful and that some members will show more of a hard-core side to them.

Series showrunner Scott M. Gimple recently told Collider that the fifth year will be more like the comic books.

"It's not mirroring [the previous season] completely...the challenge of the show is every eight episodes, it's a whole new show," he said. "I will say that there may be some slightly familiar structural turns. But for the most part, it is going to be brand new versions of the comic story."

The Walking Dead Season 5 is expected to premiere in October on AMC.
