Or at least that's what the series new tagline reads. Splashed across a train in San Diego, the words "SHIELD Rises" herald both the start of the San Diego Comic-Con and the second season of the Marvel series.

Decked out in black and red, the train also sports the agency's latest emblem (see photo here). A cross between the reassuring eagle of the past and the malicious HYDRA mask, the symbol makes it more than clear that Coulson's (Clark Gregg) team is not done dealing with the Nazi organization.

While Coulson now has the weighty task of rebuilding the international agency, getting SHIELD back on its feet is not the Director's only concern. Along with his own GH325-induced insanity, Coulson must deal with Skye's (Chloe Bennet) monstrous lineage and Fitz's (Iain De Caestecker) tenuous medical state.

"Right now, there is no S.H.I.E.L.D.," explained executive producer Jeffery Bell, according to TV Guide. "They're viewed as a terrorist organization around the world, so I think there's a long route to go. We have no funding, we have an authority, we have no buildings. That seems like a pretty great uphill climb to have to do."
