Patrick's (Jason Thompson) ethics could be called into question after he is forced to explain what happened during Rafe's (Jimmy Deshler) surgery on General Hospital.

Patrick Botches Rafe's Surgery?

No one yet knows if Rafe made it out of the operation alive, but if he died on Patrick's operating table, there will be some explaining to do, as it was known beforehand that Patrick was holding a grudge against the teen for killing his infant son Gabriel.

"ANSWER ME!" Silas (Michael Easton) yells at Patrick in a preview clip for the Thursday, July 10 episode.

"Patrick, what is it?" Sam (Kelly Monaco) asks.

Rafe Takes A Turn For The Worse

While he was in the surgery, Patrick had become momentarily distracted as he argued with a fantasy version of himself over the right thing to do during the surgery. While he actually knew the right thing was to try his best to save Rafe's life, the fantasy version argued for him to act out his revenge. That all changed however after Epiphany (Sonya Eddy) started calling out to warn him that Rafe was bleeding internally and Patrick needed to do something in order to save his life--and he sprang into action. However, the action still could have been too late--and he may find himself in front of the board as they question whether or not he had ethically performed the surgery.

Also in the hospital, Alice (Bergen Williams) still wants to warn Michael (Chad Duell) about Tracy's (Jane Elliott) duplicity as she works with Fake Luke to get Michael removed as CEO of Quartermaine.

"There's something you need to know Mr. Michael," she says in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 2 p.m. on ABC.
