More tragic news in the murder of an entire family. Ron Haskell, 33, shot and killed Stephen and Katie Stay, 39 and 34, and their family by reportedly posing as a deliveryman.

According to the Houston Chronicle, Haskell was wearing a FedEx pullover shirt when he arrived at the home about 5:50 p.m. Wednesday, July 9. According to The Daily Mail, Haskell killed the Stays and four children, including two boys ages 4 and 14 and two girls, ages 7 and 9.

Haskell's 15-year-old niece, who according to the website is named Cassidy, was able to survive the mass shooting. She played dead at the scene and then bravely called 911 and alerted police, despite reportedly suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. She was also able to warn them that Haskell was going to travel to her grandparents' home to kill them.

Police have said that the murder stemmed from a divorce. Haskell was reportedly married to a member of Stay's family and the 15-year-old is his niece through that marriage.

"It appears this stems from a domestic issue with a breakup in the family from what our witness has told us,' Assistant Chief Deputy Constable Mark Herman of the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office said. Haskell reportedly went to the home asking for his ex-wife. When the teen said she wasn't there, he left only to return a short while later. Haskell reportedly kicked the door and tied her up. He waited for the entire family to return home and demanded to know where his ex-wife was. When they said they didn't know, he shot them execution style in the back of the head and left the house.

Haskell has been charged with multiple shooting deaths.

According to ABC News, police were able to corner Haskell on a dead end street and prevent him from driving away.
