The Benefactor is coming to Teen Wolf, but then again, he may already be there.

Since "Muted," the Mute (Joseph Gatt) has been swinging his ax up and down Beacon Hills. However, it is unknown whether or not the mouth-less baddie is The Benefactor or just one of his employees.
Gatt has said little about his murderous character, but it is apparent that The Mute will continue to appear throughout season 4.
"It's a really cool character and apparently I made such an impression that they're bringing me back for more," Gatt explained to Flicks and the City. "It's a very dark, very creepy character, of course. I can not say more, but season 4 is going to really, really kick butt."
Meanwhile, the true identity of The Benefactor may remain a mystery for most of the season.
"The mystery is, Who is this person paying out for the supernatural creatures in Beacon Hills to be murdered? Who is The Benefactor?" teased series creator Jeff davis, according to Buzzfeed.
