It would seem like the perfect way to get revenge, and as a result, it will be hard for everyone in Port Charles to trust Dr. Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) again on General Hospital.

Rafe's Condition Gets Worse

Patrick was forced to perform surgery on Rafe (Jimmy Deshler) after the teen began seizing after his car accident--a cruel twist of irony since Rafe's first car accident led to the death of Patrick's infant son Gabriel. However, during the surgery, Rafe lost too much blood and hemorrhaged, making him legally brain dead-and Patrick is being blamed.

"Do you think that Doctor Drake did something?" Nina (Michelle Stafford) asks Silas (Michael Easton) in a preview clip for the Friday, July 11 episode.

Patrick Opens Up About Rafe's Surgery

Patrick in the meantime, is being forced to defend himself to Sam (Kelly Monaco)--who was on his side while they investigated the accident, but now doesn't know if she can trust him.

"Sam, you've got to believe me," Patrick says to her.

Meanwhile, Maxie (Kirsten Storms) will be forced to deal with more drama between Nathan (Ryan Peavy) and Levi (Zachary Garred) after a federal official arrives at her apartment to question her about her boyfriend's expired visa.

"If you know anything, you had best speak up now," the official says to her in the clip.

Maxie isn't the only one in a relationship triangle though--Lucas (Ryan Carnes) is still trying to decide between Felix (Marc Samuel) and Brad (Parry Shen)--but he may finally be making his decision between the two clear.

"So you need to tell the lucky guy the good news," Lulu (Emmee Rylan) says to him in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 2 p.m. on ABC.
