‘Devious Maids’ Season 2 Finale Spoilers: Things ‘Don’t End Well’ For The Maids At Rosie And Spence’s Wedding? [VIDEO]
Death has often plagued the characters of Lifetime's Devious Maids, and the season 2 finale episode may contain the most shocking one yet.
In a season which has already seen the deaths of Alejandro (Matt Cedeno) and Opal (Joanna Adler), someone else could soon find themselves no longer walking the streets of Beverly Hills as another shooting threatens to derail what should be a happy occasion--Rosie (Dania Ramirez) and Spence's (Grant Show) wedding.
A preview clip for the episode, titled Look Back in Anger, shows Spence's nephew, Ty (Gideon Glick), donning a ski mask and sticking a gun out the window as he passes by the church in his car--as everyone ducks when a shot goes off, and Rosie's bouquet falls to the ground.
Hilarious Scenes and Big Surprises in Season Finale?
Ty had previously decided Valentina (Edy Ganem) knew too much about the Beverly Hills robberies, after learning about Ethan's (Colin Woodell) involvement--and he needed to eliminate her as a threat. His attack at the wedding appears to still be that plan being put into action.
"She's the only one that can tie us to the robberies," he says in a preview clip for the July 13 episode.
In an interview with TV Line, Rebecca Wisocky, who portrays Evelyn Powell on the series, dished that things could potentially not end well for Rosie and Spence--hinting that one of them could be hurt at the wedding instead of Valentina.
"Rosie and Spence seem to be heading down the aisle, but how that happens and whether or not it ends well remains to be seen. I love them as a couple," she said.
Wisocky also revealed that there would be major changes in store for her and her on-screen husband, Adrian (Tom Irwin).
"There is big, fundamental progression; there's earth-shifting progression in the Powell house," she said. " How that changes who they are to one another will be a question moving forward."
The Devious Maids season 2 finale airs Sunday, July 13 at 10 p.m. on Lifetime.
